Our favourite Cape Townian producer has to be the one and only Liver. As regular readers you will already know this so we don’t need to tell you how we can’t get enough of his glitched up hip hop and dubstep inflected beats. It seems we just did though. Ah well, if a story is worth telling then we might as well tell it again. Everything this boy makes is dynamite and his latest effort is no different. Quite how Liver is not king of the world yet is anyone’s guess but for now just be thankful he even exists. His time will come and when it does we’ll be eating out of his hands, slobbering in anticipation of his next release. His latest effort is perhaps our favourite track if his yet. It’s a neck snapping hip hop banger featuring the vocal gymnastics of Disco Izrael and deserves to be top of everyone’s playlist. Here’s your chance to see that it does just that….
This lip smackingly good ComputerScheisse Mix was put together by Tommy Perman of everyone’s favourite bleeping folksters FOUND and takes in a combination of his favourite tracks from the last twelve months and some older gems and new exclusives. His and our belated present for you, just in time for everyone to settle into the new year….
Ok, so we are a little bit late on posting this one but who can blame us? Between munching mince pies, returning unwanted gifts and falling out with our families the blog took a bit of a back set over the festive period. Still, better late than never and when the mix is as good as this who cares when it gets dropped?
Anyway, to celebrate and spread some yuletide cheer, our man in Ohio, Ruckus Roboticus, took two of the things we humans just can’t get enough and brought them together in festive harmony. Christmas and Daft Punk, how can you not like that? Exactly….

Zebra Baby came together by chance, meeting as co workers in Urban Outfitters before joining forces to create some of the most dance inducing, rhythm hitting, electronic tinged hip hop beats to bump in our boom boxes in recent memory. Formed in creative hot bed of Brooklyn, Char Johnson of Simian Mobile’s Disco ‘Hustler’ and Ali Ramos, a DJ & MC from Oakland, have come together with German label ITD Music to bring you their debut W.A.R. EP, complete with remixes from some of the most exciting producers Europe has to offer. Harnessing the sexual energy of contemporaries Thunderheist and Yo! Majesty and the raw bravado of The Beastie Boys and 2 Live Crew, Zebra Baby’s sound references the present as well as the past as they bring the new sound of Brooklyn to the clubs of the world.
