Bristol’s kings of the beats are still basking in the success of their smash hitting ‘How We Roll’ but have seen fit to bless us with another amazing release. Their follow up is something to be savoured but then again, if you follow our friends at Leisure then you’ll know by now that is always the case. Their output might be on the slim side but one thing’s for sure, their beats are fat.
This time the production duo have teamed up with UK’s queen of the dance Lady Chann to create a neck snapping, speaker rumbling slice of modern hip hop soul with a dancehall twist.
Remixes come courtesy of old friend and long time collaborator Mr Benn, and mysterious new recruits Professor Dodecahedron & Lord Grigio. Mr Benn injects some carnival action into proceedings with his trademark good times vibes, sunshine styles and a consistent ear for a block party classic. Professor Dodecahedron & Lord Grigio bring the noise with a pitched down, bass wobbling, drum skipping dancehall rework that completes another package of undeniable quality from the Leisure camp.
