Residing in Glasgow we are rarely short of quality DJ mixes to run down the batteries in our boom boxes. Whether it’s our own Benny Boom, Point To C, NoFace or MGCK or the likes of Numbers’ Jackmaster, Ali Ooft & The Revenge or Optimo, we don’t have to look far to keep our inspiration high. Still, it’s always a pleasure when something comes out of nowhere to remind you that no matter how well you know your own scene there’s still much more to be heard.
Just this morning we received this mix from a mysterious DJ duo known only as Lucha Libre. These two masked avengers clearly know their party styles as they mix up all manner of UK funky, dubstep, house and ragga garage for the masses. At the moment that’s all we know about them but based on this effort we’re sure to find out a whole lot more…
